
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Carole Hornsby Haynes earned her doctorate in Professional Education from The University of Memphis with teaching certifications in history and music.
At the undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr. Haynes majored in music with advanced classical piano studies at the University of Memphis and Rhodes College.
In the public schools she taught music, social studies, and English/Language Arts.
At the higher education level, Dr. Haynes taught teacher education courses at the University of Memphis and American and Southern history at the Community College where she served as Chairman of the Social Sciences Division.
In addition to her love of education, Dr. Haynes also had a keen interest in real estate investments and management. She founded Haynes & Associates Realtors in Memphis, Tennessee, which handled property sales, property management, and investment real estate.
Dr. Haynes also taught real estate brokerage courses at The University of Memphis.
After moving to Texas, Dr. Haynes continued to work in the investment arena with the founding of a Registered Investment Advisor financial services company. She held insurance and securities licenses, including Series 6, 63, 7, and 65, and provided estate planning, asset management, insurance and retirement planning to clients.
Currently she serves as President/CEO of Haynes Financial Services, an investor in precious metals and oil and gas.
Alarmed about the Marxist indoctrination in public education, Dr. Haynes founded Tea Party for Kids as an online resource to educate, organize, and mobilize Americans in understanding what has happened to our schools, abolishing the U.S. Department of Education, returning control to our local communities, and creating new learning institutions that will produce an educated citizenry and secure our liberty.
She continues her work as an educator through speaking and writing about a revolution in American education. She has authored a number of published articles about the issues in public education.
She has been appointed as an expert reviewer for the Texas Fine Arts Curriculum Standards.
Dr. Haynes also is active in politics, serving as precinct chair, member of the Dallas GOP Executive Committee, 2010 Texas State GOP delegate, and coordinator of a 2010 Congressional campaign.
Dr. Haynes is a long time supporter of the cultural arts in Dallas, including the Dallas Theater Center Guild, The Women’s Board of the Dallas Opera, The Dallas Opera Guild, The Dallas Museum of Art, and the Dallas Symphony League. She has served on various committees and executive boards of these cultural organizations and chaired major fundraisers, including Dickens of a Christmas for the Dallas Theater Center.
